Decker is open about her mental health struggles. She wrote about it in a revealing Instagram post. "I want to be open and honest. I have struggled the last couple of years. It's up-and-down. There have been really beautiful, amazing moments but also some pretty low lows. The reason why I want to share this is because I think I got to a place where I was trying to hide my vulnerabilities because if I made everything look great all the time it would hide my internet struggles."

In the same post, Decker talked about her goals and career plans. She says that she wants to do a lot of things, and isn't afraid to go after them. "I've also been struggling with the challenges I face in my career. I've been wanting to be a country singer since I was 9 years old and sometimes, I feel like constantly in a battle with the rest of the industry to prove to them that I'm not just a TV personality or an influencer because that has outshines my music. As a woman in 2022, I don't understand why I can't have a family, publish books, own a fashion brand, be an influencer and do TV without being questioned if I take my music career seriously just because I've chosen to dream big."

Decker has a busy schedule, but she also makes time for workouts on a regular basis. She revealed her secrets to CMT. "Carve out 30 to 45 minutes of time. At the end of the day, 45-minutes is really not that much of your time. I don't love the excuses people provide, 'I don't have time to work out,' or 'I don't need it.' You have time to get a good workout in. Just do it."

Decker likes to do a lot of different workouts. She says that she likes to search for different tips and fitness routines to try out. She tells CMT that she uses YouTube a lot. "There are YouTube videos I will watch. There's such a variety."

Decker isn't afraid to call out haters. She called out body shamers on an Instagram post. "It's pretty awful, and I cannot believe this is still happening in the world," she wrote. "That people are doing this. Yes, I have gained weight, 100 percent. I used to obsess over it. I tried to stay a certain weight, and most recently, over the past year, I decided to just let myself live."
